“One evening when I was on the bus there were
two men sitting near me. I saw that one of the men was wearing white socks and
the other was wearing black socks but then they suddenly took off one of their
shoes and exchanged one of their socks so they got off the bus both wearing one
white sock and one black sock.”
Possible answers:
ü They might be going to a party where they have
to wear black and white clothes.
ü They could be brothers who have done
this just to catch some attention.
ü They could be complete strangers who
have done this in order to have some fun.
ü They might live in a country where
there was a special day on which they need to wear black and white clothing.
ü There might be a strange tradition
where if they meet someone who was wearing black socks and the other person was
wearing white ones, they have to exchange them.
ü They must have done this in order to
do as they had bet before.
